About Scout
Meet Scout! This handsome 3-year-old Husky/Heeler mix is eager to find his forever family. When he first entered foster care, Scout struggled with socialization, but he has made incredible progress. He’s learning to trust and gaining confidence, showing how wonderful life can be when shared with caring companions. Once Scout warms up to you, his affectionate personality truly shines. He loves being outside, is eager to be your buddy, and walks nicely on a leash. Scout is also a good car rider and enjoys outings. He gets along beautifully with his canine foster siblings and generally ignores the cat at home, even remaining indifferent to the chickens that occasionally visit. He has interacted well with older children, although he hasn't been around younger kids yet. Although part Husky, Scout isn't a big talker—he’s usually quiet and only barks occasionally. Whether you need an adventure companion for hiking or a loving friend to relax with at home, Scout is ready for it all. He just requires a little time, patience, and love to continue blossoming. Come meet Scout in Luttrell, TN, to see what a bestest boy he is. Ready to give this sweet boy a forever home?
