About Summer

Meet Summer! This lovable mini Poodle mix, weighing around 15 lbs and about 2 and a half years old, is ready to find her forever home. Rescued from a commercial breeding operation, Summer has a bright personality and a zest for life. She’s social and friendly, particularly with children, often wiggling her entire body in excitement. While she enjoys the company of people, Summer thrives in the presence of other dogs. We’re keen to find her a home with another friendly dog or, even better, to adopt her with her mom, Skye, who is listed separately. Summer is crate-trained and currently working on basic skills like leash walking and housebreaking. She’ll need a patient adopter who can help her continue learning these essential skills. Her adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay, and microchip. If you’re interested in bringing Summer into your life, please apply through Dog Town Rescue in Hatfield, PA. Remember: An approved application and appointment are necessary to meet any of our dogs. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
