Meet Skye! This sweet girl is around 9 years old, having spent much of her life as a breeding dog in a commercial facility. While her body shows signs of wear from producing many litters, her spirit remains intact. You may find Skye sitting timidly in the corner, hoping to blend into the background, but little by little, she’s showing us glimpses of her personality. When she sees other dogs, she brings out a happy dance and quickly makes friends. Though she’s shy, her tail wags when she starts to feel comfortable, and she’ll offer gentle licks when you take the time to sit with her and speak softly. Skye adores other dogs and would thrive in a home where she can bond with a friend, preferably her daughter, Summer, or another friendly canine companion. She will need some time to work on house training and leash manners. Skye has a quick burst of energy when she spots an open gate, so a secure environment will be important until she feels more settled. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and even received a dental to help her feel her best. If you’re ready to provide Skye with the patience she needs, she could be the perfect addition to your family.
