Smoreo is a large, neutered male domestic short hair, around 8 years old. He weighs 12.5 lbs and is vaccinated. Currently in New York, NY, he is looking for a quiet home where he can feel safe and loved again.

About Smoreo

Smoreo is an affectionate and talkative 8-year-old boy looking for a quieter home. Previously, he lived with his owner since kittenhood but found himself needing a new start due to some concerns regarding the safety of a child in the household. Despite this, he has proven to be a friendly and gentle kitty at the care center, charming both staff and volunteers with his playful demeanor. He enjoys cuddles and is quite pleasant company. As a large domestic short hair, Smoreo enjoys laying in his den, taking in his surroundings. He’s curious and warms up to people quickly, allowing petting and even getting picked up, albeit with a slight squirm. It’s important for Smoreo to find a home without young children, where he can decompress and thrive. An experienced cat owner would be ideal to guide him through this transition. Smoreo is excited for a second chance and is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
