Sun is a gentle, affectionate cat with a quiet and steady presence. He had an uncertain start—taken from his mom and grandma a little too soon—which left him a bit shy at first. After some patient fostering, Sun slowly blossomed. He favors the calmer things: a warm lap, some quiet company, and the occasional play with a wand toy. He'll curl up beside you and stay close, showing love in calm, subtle ways rather than demanding it. At the care center, Sun came in with his companions Shadow and Mamacat after their owner lost their home. He needed a little coaxing to step outside his comfort zone, but once he trusts you, Sun craves cuddles and doesn't mind being carried. With other cats, he's friendly and playful—never pushy. Sun does have a heart murmur, but his cardiac testing came back strong. The rescue asks new adopters to be patient and gentle: Sun can be hesitant and will need time and daily engagement with his new person to truly settle in.
