Meet Duke! Duke is a charming Chihuahua mix born on August 27, 2016. Weighing in at just 6.4 pounds, he’s a delightful little companion who loves to be close to his people. While he may not be the most playful pup just yet, his sweet nature shines through. Duke typically keeps things low-key but knows how to bark when he wants attention. He’s friendly with both big and small dogs and gets along well with cats too. Duke is not picky about food; he takes his medications wrapped in a small piece of Vienna sausage without any fuss and handles baths like a pro. Although his potty habits are still improving, he’s doing well with a consistent routine. He reliably goes outside first thing in the morning, after meals, and just before bed. He also uses pee pads, but he's not completely consistent. His future family will need to continue working with him on his potty training, ensuring he has plenty of chances to go out. Duke has shown no mobility issues related to his previous patella concerns and is currently being monitored for some skin issues and weight gain.
