About Mars

Mars is a playful spirit who came to us from a challenging past, having been rescued from a hoarding situation along with Delilah and Daisy. He’s a lively mix of Cocker Spaniel and French Bulldog, with an infectious enthusiasm for life. At just about 1 year old and weighing around 22 lbs, he’s still learning to navigate new experiences. His goofy antics involve launching himself towards you, looking for a fun catch-and-launch game. He loves toys, especially balls, and will delightfully pounce on them as he rolls them around. Mars is eager to learn and is making progress with leash training, although he still needs some guidance. He would thrive in a patient home that can help him build confidence and adjust to his new surroundings. He does well with other dogs, but his history suggests he’d be best off in a home without children. Potential adopters should research the breed traits, as Cocker Spaniels and French Bulldogs can be prone to ear infections. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
