About Chickie
Chickie (also known as "Chicken") is a sweet Great Pyrenees mix who's looking for a quiet, settled home after spending more than seven years with her devoted family. As a puppy, she was rescued in 2019 and has been part of her home ever since, but the addition of young children has left her feeling overwhelmed. Chickie thrives in calm, low-stimulation environments where she can relax and shine for her people. She's affectionate and funny, especially once she settles in. Chickie does best with a predictable routine and a patient, confident owner who enjoys outdoor activity. She needs space to roam and would love a big yard or regular exercise—she's at her happiest when she can burn off extra energy. She can be protective of food, toys, and her space, so she must be the only dog in the house. Chickie gets along with cats and does best without young children. Her longstanding Prozac regimen has helped her stay regulated, and she's up to date on her vaccinations. Chickie deserves a peaceful home that matches her needs: one dog, lots of space, and an owner comfortable with an anxious or sensitive dog. Ready to give Chickie her next happy chapter?
