He is house trained, neutered, and has received all necessary vaccinations. Residing in New Canaan, CT, Bo is ready to find his forever home and share his loyalty and affection with a loving family.
About Bo
Bo’s story reflects the vulnerability many dogs face without the care they need. Found roaming with a sibling, they were taken by a resident who threatened severe action if they weren’t reclaimed. Luckily, Bo found his way to our rescue, where he can finally seek a loving forever home. This sweet boy has a heart of gold. Bo gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets. His love for hugs and closeness is hard to resist. After arriving matted and tangled, he has been groomed and is seeing his beautiful medium-length coat grow back. Estimated to be about 1.5 years old and thought to be a Great Pyrenees, Bo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He arrived underweight but is gradually gaining strength, aiming for a healthy weight of 85-90 pounds. He has received a Proheart-6 injection for heartworm prevention. Having endured way too much for his young age, Bo now needs what all dogs deserve—a safe, loving home, and a caring companion who will appreciate his big heart.
