Meet Raggedy Anna! Raggedy Anna’s story began with a call for help from a fellow rescuer in the Bronx. A backyard breeder no longer wanted two young dogs, and thankfully, they were rescued just in time to avoid further neglect. When Anna arrived, she was covered in painful mats and had never received proper veterinary care. Luckily, she is still young at just 9 months old, so her past has become just a brief chapter in her life. This delightful Giant Schnauzer puppy is as sweet as she is adorable. Although her ears were cropped and healed improperly, giving her floppy cropped ears, we think she looks charming just the way she is. Anna is expected to be a big girl and shows her joyful spirit as a social puppy, always eager to join the fun with other dogs at the rescue. Due to her breed characteristics, age, and size, we require her adopter to have experience specifically with Giant Schnauzers and a commitment to her socialization. Currently, we are only reviewing applications from those with direct Giant Schnauzer experience.
