Kash
AvailableKash is a young, medium-sized male German Shepherd mix currently in Stamford, CT. He's already neutered and knows basic commands like sit and down. Kash shows friendly interest in other dogs but would do best in a home without children, as he can be possessive of toys. He is not food aggressive, making training sessions easier. In the right home, Kash’s food motivation and working-breed drive make him an excellent candidate for further training.
About Kash
Kash is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix with a good training foundation and a clear appetite for learning. He already responds to basic commands like sit and down and is highly motivated by food, which makes ongoing training easier. Kash is generally well-mannered but tends to guard his toys, so a home without children will be the best fit for him. During his food evaluation, he showed excellent behavior—no food aggression at all. He hasn’t had official playtime with other dogs at the shelter, but Kash has displayed friendly interest, wagging his tail and trying to interact through the fence. When introduced to cats, he seemed frightened and unsure—he probably hasn’t met any before, but he may adapt if introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully. As a working-breed dog, Kash does best with an experienced adopter who can give him structure, engagement, and steady guidance. If you’re ready to put in the work, Kash has great potential to become an outstanding companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
