After being rescued from a breeder, she came to Hillcrest Animal Rescue in rough shape—emaciated and heartworm positive. With the right care, she's made a remarkable recovery and is now a happy, social dog looking for her forever home. While Nala enjoys the company of other dogs and has formed close friendships, she does not appreciate sharing her food. She's not a fan of cats either. However, her true love is people. Nala is affectionate and thrives on interaction with adults, children, and seniors alike. At heart, she's a cuddler who believes being 85 pounds is just right for snuggling. Nala is house trained and crate trained, walks well on a leash, and has excellent house manners. She's comfortable being left alone and enjoys traveling, making her an ideal companion for adventures. This brave girl has overcome so much and now just needs a family to complete her journey. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
