Meet Skylar – your future couch pillow and sunbathing buddy! This affectionate girl loves to snuggle up so closely that you'll wonder how she fits beside you on the couch. With a playful spirit, she enjoys morning zoomies and has a penchant for stretching after her naps. Skylar has made tremendous progress since last spring. She’s overcome her fear of garage doors, discovered a love for the ocean, and is friendly with cats. In her foster home, she even shares space with bunnies (in-cage), showing no interest in them. While she gets along well with other dogs, she benefits from slow introductions and is still mastering polite leash manners—sometimes her excitement gets the better of her when she spots other pups. Skylar has some impressive tricks. She can catch treats mid-air and has developed a taste for bananas and dried mango slices. She enjoys standing "hugs" and would thrive best in a home with older children rather than toddlers. This active girl loves to run and would appreciate a yard where she can stretch her legs each morning.
