She’s curious and tolerant of other dogs around her, though she prefers to keep things calm rather than fully dive into play. Nanny May is easy on leash and has a medium-energy vibe, making her a lovely companion for relaxed walks and sniff-and-explore adventures. She happily comes to you for pets and affection, offering gentle hugs and soaking up all the love. She adores toys—especially squeaky ones—and loves to push a ball with her nose before picking it up, and she even enjoys a game of fetch. Booty scratches are a favorite, bath time is no problem for her, and she’ll politely sit for treats. Despite being a senior, multiple volunteers note that Nanny May acts much younger than her age and has plenty of joy to share!
