About Tulip
Meet Tulip, a delightful mixed-breed dog ready to blossom in her forever home. This 1.5-year-old lady weighs just under 25 lbs and has a beautiful golden coat with a medium length. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm testing, so she’s all set to start a new chapter with you. Tulip’s background is a bit mysterious, as she was found as a stray. She takes a little time to warm up to new people; initially, she may freeze in place, but soon enough, she’ll be wiggling with excitement and affection. Ideal for homes with women and gentle children, she feels safest around them. A fenced-in backyard is a must for her comfort as she settles in, allowing her to explore without worry. Her perfect match will be patient, willing to guide her in learning new habits gently. If you’re interested in bringing Tulip home, visit her at the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Reach out via email at AVASCares2@gmail.com or call 989-348-4117 for more information. This could be the start of something beautiful for both of you!
