About Auggie
Meet Auggie, the adorable Shih Tzu who's ready for his second chance! At about 7 years old, he found himself in need of a new home after his owner sadly passed away. Fortunately, a family friend stepped in to care for him and reached out to our rescue to help find Auggie the loving forever home he deserves. Auggie is house trained and in good health, making him a fantastic companion. He enjoys being with his people and would thrive in a warm, nurturing environment. While he can be a bit selective with other dogs, he gets along well with the female dog in his foster home but has shown a preference against male dogs. For this reason, he might do best as the sole dog or with a compatible female after an introduction. Auggie is also more comfortable with older children who will respect his space and understand his need for some downtime. After losing his previous home, he deserves a family ready to offer him the love, patience, and security he needs to feel at home again. If youβre looking for a mature little buddy to share your life with, Auggie might just be the perfect match! To give Auggie a forever home, please submit an application soon!
