About Mickey
Mickey is a gentle long-haired brown and white tabby ready for a patient forever home. Found wandering the streets, he has slowly learned that people can be kind since coming into rescue. This shy boy needs an adopter who understands that trust takes time; he'll take his own pace to adjust to a new environment. Squeeze-up treats are an absolute favorite of his, acting as a delightful way to help him feel comfortable. Mickey thrives in quiet spaces where he can feel safe and appreciates calm routines. He enjoys the company of gentle, patient people and would do well with another respectful cat. His ideal home would be calm, without young children, as he’ll need time to settle in. While he is lovely with other cats, his reaction to dogs is unknown, requiring careful introductions if any are present. If you have a soft spot for shy cats and believe in building trust, Mickey is ready for a supportive home where he can eventually blossom into a loyal companion.
