Rescued from Rutherford County PAWS in 2020, he was previously adopted but had to return to the rescue when his family moved abroad. Capone underwent a double ACL surgery on both of his back knees and is now fully recovered, ready to find a forever home. Capone needs a very special home that understands his unique needs. He adores humans but is best as the only dog in a household. Cats are not a good match for him, and he would thrive in a home with older children or without kids. Having spent much of the past year in kennels and boarding facilities, he craves a stable and loving environment to call his own. His sad eyes tell the tale of lost homes and disappointment, but there's a flicker of hope that needs nurturing. Capone just wants to relax and be loved without the worry of further upheaval.
