About Smiley
Meet Smiley. Smiley is a 2.5-year-old, 60-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle heart and a story that will touch you. For her first two years, she survived the streets with her five siblings until we intervened to bring them to safety. Shortly after her rescue, we learned Smiley was pregnant. She dedicated her time to raising her puppies, who have all found loving homes. Now it’s finally Smiley’s turn to find her forever family. This sweet girl is as gentle as they come. She enjoys belly rubs, stuffed toys, and tasty treats, coupled with long, cozy naps on the couch after some outdoor adventure. Smiley has a lovely medium energy level, making her perfect for both playtime and quiet moments with her humans. Though she may seem timid at first, particularly around men, Smiley is not aggressive. If she's feeling nervous, she will choose to step away. Once she feels safe, her affectionate side truly shines, forming strong bonds with those she trusts. Smiley gets along well with dogs of all sizes and has been great with children who approach her gently. While she hasn't been cat tested, she's shown her loving nature with those who take their time to understand her. Many of us believe dogs like Smiley are the best kind—gentle, kind, and incredibly loyal once they know they are safe. She might not be the first to greet you enthusiastically, but she’ll quietly observe until she learns to trust you, offering her whole heart in return. The family who gives her a chance will gain one of the most devoted companions. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
