Having faced minimal positive human interaction, Skittles can be nervous and easily frightened by the sights and sounds of a typical household. It's important for her future family to understand that her hesitance isn't stubbornness but rather a result of her past experiences. She could thrive well with a patient family, possibly alongside a confident dog who can help her navigate this new world, and she might even become good friends with a resident cat, given her repressed prey drive. Skittles needs a securely fenced yard and should be placed in a home with children aged 13 and above. She’ll require an understanding family willing to let her acclimate at her own pace.
