About Wanda
Meet Wanda! At around 11 months old, she’s the tiniest of her litter, weighing in at just 26 lbs. Don’t let her small stature fool you; Wanda is bursting with sweetness and personality. She and her siblings were rescued from a construction site in South Texas and have been thriving since March 2026 in a safe sanctuary. Wanda is incredibly gentle and submissive. She adores everyone she meets and has a knack for making friends. However, her soft nature means she can be bullied by more assertive dogs, so a kind and respectful friend in her new home is a must. While she loves playtime, she’s also a calm puppy who enjoys belly rubs and gentle companionship. She does well with children too, making her an excellent family pet. This little girl is food motivated and unafraid to express her needs—just ask her foster! They’ve seen her push her empty bowl, asking for more food in the most adorable way. She’s crate trained and eager to learn, although her puppy attention span means she’ll need a patient adopter to guide her. Wanda enjoys water, but on her own terms—she prefers to enjoy splashing around without being soaked, thank you very much! With the right training and a loving environment, she would flourish, potentially as the only dog or alongside gentle friends. If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful companion and can provide the gentle, loving home she needs, Wanda is ready to be your new best friend. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and will receive a clean bill of health before transport. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
