Meet Camille "Cami". At just 9 months old, Cami is a spirited 10-pound Pomeranian with a heart full of energy, even though she's navigating life on three legs. After a tough start at the shelter, where her broken front leg had to be amputated, Cami hasn’t let that slow her down one bit. This little tripod hops around effortlessly, conquers stairs, and even manages to leap onto the ottoman—though she's still figuring out how to get down gracefully. Cami is loving, playful, and a total snuggle bug. She enjoys her toys and thrives on attention, often seeking a cozy spot next to you for some quality cuddle time. With new people, she’s more observant than outgoing, preferring to quietly take in her surroundings while sticking close to her person like a loyal shadow. Once you've earned her trust, she'll keep an eye on you. In her foster home, Cami shares her space with 6 dogs and 3 cats. She initially found the bigger dogs a bit intimidating but has warmed up to them, often lying beside them. That said, her youthful enthusiasm sometimes leads her to invade their space, so a patient canine companion would be ideal. She’s also working on her manners around the resident cats, showing curiosity but learning to interact gently; her foster family’s cats are helping her with that. Cami attends doggie daycare and loves the staff, even if she's still recovering from her surgery and hasn't fully engaged in the fun. While she’s not yet completely housetrained, her new family will need to continue teaching her. Being just a pup, she's sure to catch on with some patience and consistency.
