About Marty FKA Seven
Meet Marty FKA Seven — your future best friend. He’s the one who’ll follow you from room to room, rest his head on your lap, and look at you like you’re the center of his universe. At around 2 years old, this handsome American Bulldog is the perfect balance of playful and settled, having moved past the rambunctious puppy days but still bursting with enthusiasm and love. Known as a “velcro dog,” Marty thrives on connection and wants nothing more than to be by your side. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and a great companion for car rides. This smart fellow knows basic commands like sit and down, and he settles beautifully in a calm home after some exercise. Marty is looking for a calm and structured environment, ideally with an experienced owner who’s home most of the time. He has shown that he does well with other dogs but may do best as the only pet or with carefully matched companions. A cat-free home is recommended. Though Marty can experience some separation anxiety, he has made progress with structure and guidance. He’s comfortable in a crate, and his needs for "safe spaces" and clear boundaries are easily manageable with respect and patience. When out on a leash, he can pull and focus on other dogs, but he’s improving with training. If you’re ready for a deeply loyal friend who will give you everything in return, Marty is waiting for you.
