About Reggie
Reggie, previously known as Rocky B, needs a committed foster or adopter in the Northeast. He originally came into the Animal Care Centers of NYC as a stray in early 2025, but after nine months in a home, he was returned due to a collar-handling incident. He’s been waiting for a stable environment since then. Despite his journey, Reggie is a friendly guy who loves being around people. He’s neutered, crate trained, and housetrained—he’ll let you know when he needs to go out. Reggie is also leash trained, enjoys car rides, and adores toys. His favorite pastime is taking big naps on the couch. Reggie previously lived with both adults and children, where he was described as playful and outgoing. While he gets along with dogs, he hasn't had much exposure outside the shelter. He will need his own space initially and slow, structured introductions after a period of decompression. Reggie hasn't been tested with cats. He is currently undergoing a vet assessment for an eye issue, likely resulting in blindness in one eye, but all necessary medical care will be managed.
