Basilisk is a 5-month-old male medium domestic short hair kitten with a striking white coat and gray tabby markings. He is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Currently located in Marietta, OH, Basilisk has a playful nature and gets along well with other kittens and children. He is not yet neutered but will be done soon.

About Basilisk

Basilisk is an adorable male kitten who joined the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley on July 7th, 2026, after being found with his nine siblings in the Marietta area. Initially a fragile 6-week-old, Basilisk has blossomed in foster care, where he received much love and attention. With a short white coat accented by gray tabby markings, he boasts a long ringed tail and an irresistibly innocent face featuring bright golden eyes and a pink-black nose. Basilisk was vaccinated on August 10th, 2026, and has also received flea treatment and dewormer. This little lovebug has a playful and sweet personality. Basilisk enjoys the company of other kittens and children, making him a great addition to any family. He currently shares a double-wide cage in The Jungle Room with two of his siblings and they provide each other with plenty of entertainment. Basilisk will be neutered soon, tentatively on September 14th, and is getting ready to find his forever home.
