Pj
AvailablePJ is a large, senior, neutered mixed breed Terrier who’s 13 years old and living in Columbia, IL. His vaccinations are current and he’s house trained. He’s in good health for his age and ready for a home to call his own.
About Pj
PJ has truly come into his own since settling into foster care. He started off shy and underweight, but consistent meals and gentle encouragement have brought out his confidence. Now, he's an easygoing companion who lights up for walks and happily navigates stairs—quite a change for a dog who probably spent more time on the sofa in the past. PJ gets along easily with other dogs and seems indifferent to cats. When meeting new people, he’s friendly, wagging his tail and greeting everyone with an open heart. He’s crate trained, sees it as his safe spot, and does well being left alone for a few hours. Housebroken and able to sleep peacefully through the night, he makes his needs known when it’s time to go out. Although he wasn’t given much formal training before, PJ is sharp. He quickly picks up body language and hand signals, proving himself eager to learn. Physically, PJ is a healthy senior with a shiny coat, handsome mismatched eyes—one brown, one blue—and just a few age-related bumps like thick toenails and skin tags. Gentle and food-motivated, he's happiest curled up beside his person, offering affection and good company. PJ deserves a loving place to relax and thrive in his senior years, and whoever brings him home will be lucky to share his golden days. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
