Meet Ken! This 12-year-old Standard Poodle is a mix of sweetness and silliness, with a dash of charm that makes him quite the character. He is very friendly and enjoys being around people, making him an ideal companion for someone seeking a low-key best friend. While Ken does well with other dogs, he might not be the best fit for homes with cats, as he is quite curious about them. Housebroken and crate trained, Ken eats well and is up to date on medical care, including dental work and a fresh groom. One of his favorite pastimes is basking in the sun outside. With a nice yard to lounge in, he could spend hours happily watching the world go by. He still enjoys a good romp around too. Ken experiences some anxiety, especially with thunderstorms and loud noises, so he would thrive in a calm environment. A busy household with a lot of commotion or young children might not suit him well. Additionally, he occasionally shows some weakness in his feet, which we monitor, but it does not cause him pain or hinder his enjoyment of life. At this stage in his life, Ken seeks a peaceful home where he can relax and receive the love he deserves. In return, he offers companionship filled with joy and a unique, endearing personality.
