About Cruiser Burt

Meet Cruiser Burt, a delightful puppy named for the black-and-whites that saved his life. He’s currently thriving in a loving foster home with two furry siblings and a small human. Cruiser is busy learning about life, including potty training and dog manners. He’s quick on the uptake, figuring out that going potty outside leads to treats and mastering the command to sit — though he’s still working on sitting for the right reasons and not just for snacks. This little shadow follows his foster mom everywhere, soaking up all the attention he can get. Full of puppy energy and a charming personality, Cruiser is super entertaining and loves to cuddle. He’s crate trained and sleeps quietly, whether it’s bedtime or when his foster family leaves the house. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and, if over six months, tested for heartworm and on preventive. To meet Cruiser, an approved application is required as we do not have a shelter location. We aim to ensure every dog finds the perfect home within a two-hour radius of Dayton, OH, and will conduct a home visit as part of the adoption process. Is your home ready for this wonderful puppy?
