About Wanda
Meet Wanda! This sweet girl is about 11 months old, weighing in at a petite 26 lbs. She's the smallest of her litter but makes up for it with a big personality. She and her siblings were discovered at a construction site in South Texas, exhausted and hungry, but they've now been thriving in a safe sanctuary since March. Wanda is gentle and submissive, wanting to be friends with everyone. However, her soft nature means dominant dogs may bully her, so her future companions should be kind and respectful. She's known to charm her fosters with her affectionate demeanor, gentle nudges for attention, and her amusing habit of pushing her empty food bowl toward them. This little darling is incredibly sweet, curious, and ready to explore. She's wonderful with children and well-behaved with cats, given proper introductions. Wanda loves toys, particularly the ones she can attack with gusto—so be prepared to keep a stock of durable playthings. She's crate trained, eager to learn, and loves belly rubs. Wanda's ideal home is a calm and nurturing environment where she receives lots of affection and gentle companionship. Whether as an only dog or with other gentle pups, she thrives on positive reinforcement and a loving touch. If you're seeking a loyal, low-key companion who doesn’t quite grasp the concept of keeping toys intact, Wanda could be the perfect match for you. She’s spayed, heartworm negative, and has all her vaccinations in order. Wanda is on the lookout for a loving forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
