About Wanda
Meet Wanda! Wanda is about 11 months old and the smallest of her litter, weighing in at approximately 26 lbs. She is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll come across, with a personality as big as her heart. Rescued from a construction site in South Texas, she was part of a group of six puppies who were hungry and scared but have blossomed in a caring sanctuary since March 2026. Don’t let her size fool you; Wanda is packed with charm. She’s very gentle and submissive, eager to make friends and avoid any conflict. This means she needs a home where her future companions are kind and respectful. She might get picked on by more assertive dogs, so she thrives best in a calm environment. Wanda adores humans, is especially good with children, and even gets along with cats when introduced properly. Wanda is a playful yet calmer puppy. She loves cuddles, belly rubs, and toys—though those toys might not survive long because she enjoys ripping them apart! She’s food motivated and will cleverly nudge her empty bowl if she thinks it’s time for dinner. If you’re looking for a gentle companion, Wanda could be the perfect fit. She longs for a warm home filled with affection, patience, and a bit of playful mischief. Will you be the one to give this little sweetheart the love she deserves? This adorable girl is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and ready for her forever home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
