About Washington

Meet Washington! She was rescued back in 2024 at around 7 months old, initially thought to be a simple TNR case. After her spay appointment, she amazed everyone with her friendly demeanor. Given the opportunity, Washington thrived in her foster home, learning to trust and enjoy the comforts of indoor life. Recently, she returned to us through no fault of her own; a resident cat was aggressive and made her feel unsafe. We know Washington can flourish with the right feline companion; she previously lived with a gentle, loving cat and did wonderfully. Currently, she is happy as a solo queen in her foster home. Now around 3 years old, Washington is a stunning long-haired beauty who bonds deeply, albeit at her own pace. In a calm and patient environment, she will truly shine. She loves gentle pets and affection, curling up beside you, enjoying tasty treats, and having her gorgeous long coat brushed. Once she fully trusts you, she delights in cozy lap time. Washington would do best in a peaceful home with a friendly, cuddly cat companion or as a solo kitty with a patient adopter who appreciates that love like hers is worth the wait. Your next loyal friend could be just a click away. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
