About Ellie

Ellie is a striking female Labrador Retriever mix, born on May 29, 2026. She spent her early days in the care of a wonderful foster family, which provided her mom, Jasmine, a safe place to give birth rather than in a crowded shelter. With her shiny black coat adorned with charming white markings on her chest and paws, Ellie stands out. Her adorable puppy face is complemented by sky blue eyes, a delicate white stripe on her muzzle, and floppy ears that add to her charm. Ellie has a delightful personality and craves attention. She's a playful spirit, always engaging with her siblings and enjoying her puppy days. She received her first vaccinations on July 19, followed by boosters on August 2 and August 16. Though she was the smallest among her siblings at 11 lbs, her spirit is larger than life. Ellie will be spayed before adoption, as per the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley's requirements. As of August 29, she is available for foster-to-adopt after her original foster family opted not to proceed with the adoption. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
