About Bob
Bob came to us from Yuma after being found as a stray. This sweet old man is a true gem. Friendly with people of all ages, he adores young children and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. His gentle demeanor suggests that he would likely adapt well to living with cats too. Bob is doing well with potty training, especially when given regular opportunities to go outside, and he also uses potty pads when needed. He walks nicely on a leash and is crate trained, but his good house manners mean he can roam freely in the home. At around 10-11 years old and weighing 19 lbs, Bob has some special needs. He’s blind in one eye but has decent vision in the other. Additionally, he has a collapsing trachea and a low to mid-grade heart murmur, for which he’s on medication. He’s adjusting well to treatment and even had a dental cleaning and neuter recently. While he’s current on vaccines and microchipped, potential adopters should note that Bob likes to stay close to his humans, which means he may get underfoot. He could be a wonderful addition to a variety of homes. Ready to give Bob a forever home? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
