About Papi

Meet Papi! This handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound black Labrador Retriever has a heart of gold. Despite facing challenges in his young life, Papi embodies happiness and loyalty, eagerly embracing all that life has to offer. Before joining his foster family, Papi had never lived inside a home, but he quickly adapted to his new role as a house dog. He is now both house trained and crate trained, demonstrating how well he learns and adjusts. Living with four other dogs, Papi has shown he’s a true socialite, welcoming new canine friends with ease. Adventures are where Papi shines. He has visited stores, gone to the veterinarian, and spent quality time around children, handling each new experience like a champ. Papi walks beautifully on a leash, making him an excellent companion for outings. He loves the outdoors, swimming, and playing fetch—his playful spirit is boundless! Despite his past, Papi maintains a loving and trusting nature, and he seems genuinely grateful for every act of kindness. Now, he’s ready to find a forever family that will love him as much as he loves them. Could that be you?
