About Gingy
Gingy is a sweet soul who takes her time to get comfortable, but once she knows she can trust you, her gentle personality starts to shine. She can be a bit shy around new faces, yet she’s shown herself to be a loving companion beneath that cautious exterior. Gingy has experience with children of all ages and plays well with other dogs, which makes her a great fit for family life. Currently, she is working on building her confidence. While leashes can still be a bit intimidating, she is making daily progress. And that crate she once feared? She’s learned to see it as her cozy haven. One important note: Gingy is heartworm positive, but don’t let that worry you. She is receiving treatment that is fully covered by the rescue, and all she needs is a caring family to support her through the healing process. Gingy has shown tremendous resilience, and we believe her perfect forever home is out there. She doesn’t need perfection—just a little patience and reassurance.
