About Woody

Woody came to SAS after being found as a stray in Arlington. We’re excited to help this playful, affectionate dog find his forever home. At around 2 years old and weighing 22 pounds, Woody is full of energy and loves to play with toys. He's friendly, greeting everyone at the shelter with enthusiasm, and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. While we haven't tested him with cats, we believe he could get along fine with introductions. Woody does have some resource guarding tendencies with high-value items, so a home with children isn't ideal for him. His new owner should be prepared to trade items instead of taking them directly from him. He’s also been known to counter surf, so supervision is a must when he’s home alone. Don't miss out on this charming guy. Apply today!
