Ohana is a gentle, slow-to-warm dog seeking a calm and patient family. Currently in foster care in South Korea, she is expected to arrive in New England around August 18. Although Ohana may not greet you with enthusiasm right away, she requires about one to two weeks to acclimate to her new surroundings. Once she feels safe, her affectionate nature shines through, as she loves to seek out attention and enjoys being petted. She thrives best in a quiet household, ideally with a socially confident resident dog, and busy environments with frequent visitors may overwhelm her. This young lady is excellent with dogs of all sizes and ages, and although she hasn't been tested with indoor cats, she shows no reaction to free-roaming cats during walks. While she prefers calm and older children who respect her need for space, very small children may be too much for her. Ohana is fully house-trained and has no destructive tendencies.
