About Alf
Meet Alf, a young male Afghan mix who’s ready to bring joy into your life. At about 1 year old and around 50 lbs, this sweet boy has overcome a tough past, having been rescued from a cruelty case in Kentucky. Despite his experiences, Alf is a big, friendly, snuggly goofball who loves to be around people and enjoy life. Alf is good with other dogs and behaves wonderfully on the leash and in the car, making him a great companion for your adventures. He'll thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can play freely. With his medium-length coat and striking tricolor (brown, black, and white) appearance, he’s not just sweet, he’s a real head-turner. Homeward Bound Dog Rescue operates through foster homes, and you’ll need to fill out an application online to start the adoption process, as they do not accept applications at clinics. The adoption fee is waived, allowing you to focus on welcoming Alf into your home. Ready to meet a snuggle buddy? Hit apply and let’s get started!
