Meet Mr. Magoo! This spirited 1-year-old boy weighs a delightful 12 pounds and bounces around like a kangaroo when he's excited. Abandoned in a crate along a California canal, he’s embracing his new life in Washington. Cuddling with his foster sisters and playfully bossing his slow feeder bowl are some of his favorite activities. He currently shares his home with four dogs and a cat, and he’s thriving in this lively environment. Nearly potty trained, he might confuse the kitty litter box for a bathroom occasionally, but he’s progressing well with his crate training, often entering on his own for treats. While Mr. Magoo is still refining his leash skills, his adventurous spirit shines through as he eagerly explores new places. He takes time to warm up, particularly to men, but once he feels safe, he reveals his affectionate side. His ideal home would feature someone present frequently and open to nurturing his confidence, with the company of another dog to help guide him. After overcoming a challenging beginning, Mr. Magoo is ready for a loving family that will provide him with patience, adventure, cuddles, and all the love he deserves.
