Woodland is a spayed female mixed breed, weighing around 45 lbs and approximately one year old. This sweet girl may take some time to warm up, but once she does, her true character shines through. She walks beautifully on a leash without pulling and has the cutest wiggly waddle. After some exploration in the yard, she came over for attention. Though initially unsure about being touched, Woodland quickly became more comfortable with time and gentle reassurance. Woodland is food motivated, which helps in building trust. She knows how to sit, often doing so without prompts, and accepts treats gently. While she wasn't interested in toys during her first outing, she made significant strides once she relaxed. Eventually, she settled between my legs and let out the sweetest belly rub request, offering kisses in return. Woodland is gentle and just needs someone patient to help her feel safe. With trust, she reveals her affectionate side. She seems non-reactive to dogs nearby and might do well with a fur sibling after proper introductions. Unknown behavior with cats and children. If you're looking for a companion who will show her true self with a little patience, Woodland could be the one for you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
