About Rocky
Meet Rocky! Rocky is a sweet, big boy filled with fun and energy, ready to find his forever family. This German Shepherd/Hound mix loves people and other dogs. We believe he’s about 70 pounds of affection wrapped in an athletic body. Rocky has had a tough past, spending some time on the streets after being adopted as a puppy. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan rescued him, and now he’s thriving in a foster home. Rocky’s ideal family is an active one. He loves to run and play, making “catch me” his favorite game. An adventurous home or a runner looking for a furry companion would be perfect for him. But Rocky knows how to unwind, too; after a fun-filled day, he enjoys snuggling up and soaking up love. He gets along well with other dogs and children, making him a great addition to any home. While cats are still a mystery to him, it might be best for him to have a cat-free environment unless introductions are managed with care. Rocky is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his vaccinations. If you’re looking for an affectionate, playful friend who will be by your side through thick and thin, Rocky is the one for you. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
