About Maple
Sweet Maple was found on a dirt road with her one-week-old puppies, likely abandoned. Thanks to a caring stranger, they were taken in, and now the puppies have found their forever homes. It’s Maple’s turn to find a loving family that won’t give up on her during tough times. Life hasn’t been easy for Maple. She has a foot that appears to have healed incorrectly, possibly due to an old injury without proper care. She is also heartworm positive and has started her slow kill treatment. Sometimes anxious when left alone, she wears a sad expression but is truly a gentle soul. When she feels secure, Maple is laid back and enjoys playtime with the other dogs in her foster home. A patient adopter is essential for Maple as she navigates her new life. She would thrive in a home with another dog for companionship. If you can offer this precious girl the love and stability she deserves, please complete an application below. Our adoption fee is waived and includes age-appropriate vaccines, a vet check, deworming, a heartworm test, spay, and a microchip. We will also provide six months of heartworm prevention.
