About Pickles
Meet Pickles! This adorable 4-month-old Miniature Pinscher mix is a spayed female who weighs about 14 lbs. With her impressive intelligence, she shows great promise as an agility prospect and loves engaging in scent sports. Pickles is brimming with energy and definitely needs both direction and stimulation She enjoys her toys—balls, stuffies, and even your socks, which she likes to carry around and hide under blankets! Pickles happily chases after balls and toys, although she is still working on the return part of the game. While she hasn't shown much interest in cats, she remains curious yet cautious around them. She is almost fully house trained, with only rare accidents when she needs to go out. Car rides and walks are enjoyable for her, and she loves playing with a giant cat toy in the backyard. However, Pickles does struggle with loud noises and meeting new people; this is something her foster family is actively helping her with. She gets along fine with small dogs but tends to be more fearful around larger ones. She prefers not to be left alone and can get restless in a crate for longer periods. In terms of manners on the leash, she’s doing okay but still needs some work. While she can tolerate being picked up by trusted people, she generally prefers not to be handled that way.
