Bernie is a charming adult male Persian cat, around 3-4 years old, with beautiful white and black fur and long hair. This affectionate guy thrives on attention and loves to be petted. He enjoys playing with wand toys and springs, providing plenty of entertainment. After being rescued from a difficult situation, where he was found in a cage, Bernie underwent grooming to relieve his matted coat. He requires daily face cleaning due to his flat face, but he is good about it and often enjoys the process. Bernie, however, does face some health challenges; he has a heart murmur and may need future cardiac evaluations. Despite this, he was stable during his neuter surgery and has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is FIV/FeLV negative. This gentle soul prefers a calm environment without children or dogs, as he finds younger humans unpredictable and does not get along with dogs. He can fit into a home with other cats with proper introductions. Bernie is fully house trained and ready to find a peaceful forever home where he can be the loving companion he is meant to be.
