Charley is a one-year-old tan Labrador Retriever, weighing in at a solid 60 pounds of pure joy. His favorite pastime is being with his people, enjoying fetch and tearing into stuffies; he really knows how to detach those limbs expertly. Charley also appreciates a good chew on bully sticks and elk antlers, especially when he feels those hunger pangs hitting. This friendly boy loves ear scratches and belly rubs, embracing the simple life. While his past may have left him with some crate anxiety, he is learning to feel safe with his loving humans. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, but his people must keep a close watch on the good chew toys. Charley is gentle and prefers lazily snoozing at his humans' feet rather than jumping around. Car rides and baths are no issue for him; he handles them like a pro! Although he’s still working on his comfort level with longer periods alone, Charley's patience and willingness to learn show his great potential.
