About Jack

Jack is a sweet four-year-old Border Collie ready to share his love and energy. He enjoys keeping an eye on his humans and canine companions, making him quite the attentive buddy. Whether he's playing in the backyard or just lounging beside you, Jack embodies the easygoing spirit of a true gentleman. Lower in energy than many of his breed, Jack prefers leisurely leash walks and thrives on affection. He is great with both dogs and cats, often lighting up at the chance to chase his foster dad. Jack is calm in his crate and loves car rides. He knows his name and several commands, picking up new routines quickly. Jack's adoption requires commitment to positive reinforcement training with Green Dogs Unleashed. Preference will be given to adopters who complete the six-week Canine 101 training class in person in Troy, VA. Limited consideration will go to out-of-area applicants who agree to one private lesson and a local training class.
