Elon is a vibrant personality wrapped up in a large frame. Always the first to seek affection, he loves playing with other dogs, though he can feel a bit insecure around males. For this reason, a home with a female dog or a smaller dog would suit him best. This loyal Malinois also comes with some skills. He’s crate trained and has finished a basic obedience course. While he walks well on a leash, a front pull harness can help with his tendency to pull. His vocalizations, common for his breed, can be managed with ongoing training. Despite weighing nearly seventy pounds, Elon thinks he’s a lap dog at heart. He adores scratches and will quickly curl up right next to you. He enjoys playing ball and has a knack for sharing his toys with buddies. Future adopters should consider a few important notes: • Elon is not cat tested. • He’s great with kids, though a household with older children is recommended due to his size and energy. • Because he may feel unsure around male dogs, a household with females or smaller dogs is ideal. Elon would thrive with an active family or an individual seeking a loyal companion for outdoor adventures. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
