About Max
Meet Max, a resilient male Belgian Malinois searching for his forever home. His journey has been challenging, but he’s ready to embrace a brighter future filled with love and care. Max’s story began in a trailer, where he lived with his siblings until a sudden situation left them abandoned without food or water. Fortunately, Max and his brother Taylon were rescued just in time, but not without loss. This experience has made Max wary of strangers and of the world around him. With patience and kindness from the humans caring for him, Max has shown significant improvement. Once he builds trust, he reveals his sweet and affectionate nature. He adores belly rubs and has a special fondness for hot dogs. Currently, Max shares his space with a female German Shepherd, which has boosted his confidence. Although he's generally friendly with dogs, introductions to other pets should be approached carefully due to his past. He feels more comfortable around men but continues to make good strides in overcoming his shyness. Max is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped, ready for a family who understands him. He dreams of a stable home where he can bask in belly rubs, enjoy the little things, and form a lasting bond. If you think you could be the partner Max has been waiting for, he’s eager to meet you. Join him on his journey!
