About Poppy
Meet Poppy! Poppy is a lively 2-year-old terrier mix bursting with love and personality. Weighing around 19 pounds, she treats every day like an adventure, whether she's zooming with her foster dog friends or enjoying a cozy snuggle in bed. Her playful nature is punctuated by adorable "gremlin growls" that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Poppy plays well with dogs of all sizes and ages, but she truly thrives with confident companions who can keep up with her energy. As a young terrier, sheβs still mastering basic obedience and will benefit from a family dedicated to her training. She's an excellent sidekick for hikes, walks, and road trips, and could shine in dog agility or other active pursuits. Poppy does require some special considerations. She's quite the climber and can scale fences, has some separation anxiety, and mild resource guarding, so she needs a secure fenced yard and an experienced adopter. With structure and patience, she's ready to become an incredible companion. Poppy is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Click apply to start the adoption process.
