About Nigel
Meet Nigel, a Brussels Griffon/Terrier mix in Draper, UT, who's been quietly waiting for his person a long while. Nigel is a goodhearted dog overlooked far too often. He notices every person passing by, hoping somehow one will see beyond his quirks and realize how much he has to offer. Nigel really needs an adopter who is dog-savvy and confident. Heās sharp and occasionally will push limits if left unchecked, but truly thrives in a structured environment where guidance is consistent. He warms up after a few minutes with new people; for this reason, he does best with older childrenāparticularly those aware of boundaries and respect (ages 12+ are recommended). He gets along with most other dogs but can be selective, so proper introductions are necessary. Nigel is noticeably more comfortable with women; he finds men intimidating and benefits from thoughtful, gentle handling around them. Any adopter should be ready to support him in this area. Despite his long tenure, Nigel is eager to do well and just hopes for someone truly committedāsomeone who sees his loyalty and will advocate for him day in, day out. Lifetime training is provided to help support Nigel and his future family on their journey together. If youāre patient and believe the toughest waiters often have the biggest hearts, Nigel could be that steadfast companion you didnāt know you needed. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
